I Ordered a motherboard processor bundle from AMD that i heard about through retailaccess.com. It was a package for AMD retail partners that included a $100 rebate managed by onrebate.com

I immediately filled out all the information and sent in my rebate ASAP so as not to pass any expiration date on the rebate. My rebate forms said something about tracking the rebate at onrebate.com. When I got to the website there was no place to "log-in" to check the rebate, instad only a place to "claim this rebate now"

I filled out the info exactly as I did on my rebate form, seemingly so they could match me up to my rebate I sent in, but at the end it gave me a form to print out and mail in with my proof of purchase, etc. At that point I realized this was another way of submitting the rebate.

I figured hey, no problem, I can't send in anything, they'll just ignore this info and send me the rebate from the stuff I mailed in I just won't be able to track it online.

A few days later I recieved this message
"MULTIPLE SUBMISSION NOTICE

DEAR CUSTOMER:

This email is to notify you we have received another submission for offer NEED SOMETHING($100 AMD EPP Program Bundle (Private Offer)), for which you have already applied.

As per the terms and conditions of this rebate offer, only one submission is allowed during the eligibility period.

It has been 20 days since I started sending e-mails asking What the heck is going on and I just recieved my first response, possibly because I filed a complaint with the online Better Business Bureau a week ago. They just said to call them at 1-888-222-9300 for them to assist me further, or should I say "contact us at 1-888-222-9300 so we can tell you what a dumbass you are for thinking we are going to send you $100 when we can tell you to screw off and not face any consequences."

Much to their chagrin I plan to follow through with the OBBB complaint and I plan to let them know on the phone in the morning that my next contact will be to Charlie Crist's Office (The Florida attorney general) and to AMD to let them know that if this is how they treat retail partners that they can count on me selling ONLY Intel Products in the future.

Who knows I may contact the postmaster general and report mail fraud and file a small claims court case for my $100 as well. It will cost them at least that to have someone show up in court. At this point I don't care if I lose $500 on this if it costs them!

Now that I have a phone number I'll be sure to call them every 2-3 hours and talk their ear off. After all, the squeeky weel gets the grease!
