On June 4th 2006 I purchased a Seagate 250GB Hard Drive with an Ultra USB 2.0 External Hard Drive Enclosure for $129.99. I made the purchase expecting to receive a 50 dollar rebate. I received everthing as expected on June 8th and I proceeded to fill out the rebate form. I made very sure to include all information required by the form and I sent it out well before the deadline. Everything seemed to be going fine when I got an email from onrebate.com one June 21st saying

Your rebate payment has been approved!!!!

Rebate Award: $50

OnRebate will mail your rebate check via 1st class mail within 8 to 10 weeks from receipt of your rebate documentation and approval of your claim at no extra cost.

It is now September 2nd and I have yet to receive my rebate. I am extremely upset mostly because I would have never purchased these items without the advertised 50 dollar rebate. All my emails to OnRebate.com have gone unanswered, which is what promted me to file this report.

I am still determined to get my 50 dollars and any insight or suggestions as to how I can would be very much appreciated.

After many angry emails I finally got my 50 dollar rebate. Here is a copy of the email I sent that got me a response. If you're in the same boat dont bother writing to support@onrebate try the address below.

Subject: Better Business Bureau material??? PLEASE**RESPOND**PAYMENT**STILL**PENDING

I having been waiting since June 28th for my 50 dollar rebate. I already sumbmitted your company to RipOffReport.com, and my next step will be notifying the Better Buisness Bureau. Unless I reviece a response within two weeks.

I have read that the Florida Better Business Bureau already has a file on your company and at this point if they had a lawsuit I would be more than happy to testify against Onreabate.com.

So please show me OnRebate is a decent company And honor my rebate.
