OnRebate - PC Connection Rebate Not Processed As Stated In Terms and Conditions Ripoff Boca Raton Florida

I purchased a Hanns-G LCD monitor from PC Connection in July. Part of the offer was a rebate for $100 that was processed by OnRebate.com.

I followed the instructions to file the rebate. On August 30, 2006, I received an email from OnRebate stating:
"OnRebate.com pleased to inform you that your rebate has been approved!"
and
"Your disbursement check will be mailed within 8-10 weeks as indicated in the terms and conditions of the rebate offer."

It is well passed the stated period of 8-10 weeks. Several emails to OnRebate have gone unanswered. The phone number provided goes to voicemail system that does not provide any means of reaching a physical person.

I've copied PC Connection customer service on my emails to OnRebate. I received one response from a customer service rep, Mitchell Williams, at PC Connection stating that he woud look into it. That was on Nov 17. No one from PC Connection has gotten back to me since that time, despite several emails.

This was the first time I have ordered from PC Connection. They are clearly not standing behind their advertised prices. Given their and their partners lack of response, I strongly suggest never ordering anything from them.

As far as my rebate, I will be contacting the attorney general's office to file a fraud complaint.
