I received an email from onrebate claiming:
Our system indicates that your rebate application has been denied. The following requirements were not met: Conflicting Data - Rebate information does not match Invoice. The address is different on both the rebate and invoice.

Rebate Description: $50 Radio Shack MIR on Ultra X-Connect 500W ATX PS-
Black w/ UV Green
Rebate Offer: UL-2284
-----------------------------------------------
I believe there is a pattern of illegal business conduct from Onrebate.com. It continues to defraud people in the same manner. Below is my response to Onrebate.com. I have contacted Radioshack customer relation and will be contacting them again getting them to be aware of the reputation of the rebate processing service they are using. I will file a complain with the FTC and the CA Attorney General.
-----------------------------------------------
My response:
Attached is the rebate form I submitted.
As a legal requirement, a rebate form must include the terms, conditions, and requirements for the rebate that the customer should read, agree, and comply with prior to mailing.

I have read the Onrebate.com rebate form prior to mailing. No where on the rebate form I can find the terms and conditions, which state that Rebate mailing address has to match the Invoice address.

While this term or condition may have been displayed on Onrebate.com web site, the web site content is subject to frequent change and/or update at Onrebate.com discretion. The only valid/legal proof is the rebate form printed at the time of rebate submission and mailed by the customer.

Onrebate.com fails to include such the term and condition on the rebate form. Please process my rebate based on the terms, conditions, and requirements printed on the rebate form.

FRAUD AND MISPRESENTATION

Many provisions of the CPPA put special obligations on merchants. Some of the types of conduct by a merchant that are unlawful trade practices under the statute are the following:

a. Misrepresent any material (i.e., important) fact with a tendency to mislead; (Onrebate.com)

b. Fail to state a material fact with a tendency to mislead; (Onrebate.com)

The rebate requirement is printed in small print and is not included in the rebate form ----> tendency to mislead

and more but not applicable to Onrebate.com

Adress doesn't match

Dear Onrebate customer,

The reason we request that the address on the rebate form matches the address on the invoice is to reduce fraudulent accounts.

I will gladly make an exception on your rebate should you send me an email to nadina.urdanetaATonrebate.com
