Bought the Seagate 320GB harddrive with $45 rebate while in Iraq. Followed the instructions to a letter and still had to call from overseas and was told that the copies were unreadable. When I told them I had copies of everything and would send again, I was told "Oh, no need, we'll accept it". Waited the 10 weeks from August 7th and called and was told that the check would be released and I could expect it in 10-15 business days. This was on Oct 14th. Called today (Oct 31st)and was told the exact same thing.

Onrebate hopes you will forget about your rebate and can keep the money for themselves. Why does the consumer have a deadline to send the rebate info in, but Onrebate can continue to extend their deadlines to over 14 weeks?

Please don't tell me to contact Nadine either...Been there done that!!
