As previous posts claimed, the rebate forms say nothing about certified mail. and now it appears that my claim was put on the back burner because i could not 'prove' when i sent in the claim.
I bought a monitor from Tiger Direct in the last week of December. The rebate forms were complete, and mailed out by the second week of January. Now OnRebate's claim updater denied the claim because it was outside of the time window. When i talked to the Tiger Direct representative, he obviously did not understand my question to him, and laughed at me when i told him he was confused.
I have never had to jump through this many hoops with any other rebate in the past.

Congratualations OnRebate.com, you just stole another $95.
