Purchased 2001 Mazda pickup on 7/1'9/04. This the 4th Mazda purchased.

When I received extended warranty, I noticed that the all weather floor mats were missing. According to the invoice, they should be their. According to Tony, at O'Hara, If they are there they are there, if not they are not.

When I took a look under the truck I noticed the most structural rust I had ever seen on the bottom of a vehicle. I was told by someone in service that all Mazda and Ford pickups (Mazda made by Ford) have rust on the bottom. I owned a Tuff-Kote Automotive Rustproofing franchise in the '70's and don't think that to be the case.

Welcome to 2004 Every Ranger/B series truck made has rust.

#2Consumer Suggestion

Hey bud, welcome to 2004. The 70's were waaaaaaay back when. Cars used to be made with wood frames at one point. Every Ranger/B series truck made has rust. That's a fact. Ford puts all the $$ into the fullsize trucks. The Rangers and "Mazda" trucks have to be "optioned up" to get rust proofing. I would suggest you move on as far as the RUBBER mats are concerned. As for the rustproofing, the best stuff I've seen is the Rhino lining. Most places who spray it will also do it under the truck. I've seen Jeeps that were done with it all over and under for use as hunting trucks. No chips, dings, or rust anywhere on them.
