This company Faxed us a form about 18 months ago. It had the Yellow Pages logo and was pre-filled with category information that was only partially correct. I corrected the category and returned it by Fax thinking that this was the local YP directory. The real one had contacted us a few months previous to this, so I was expecting something from them sometime. A month or two later, we received an invoice for payment. At that time, we noticed that the company was Not the Yellow Pages and in fact was located in the United Arab Emerates.

We had been duped. Of course, we did not pay the invoice and filed it away as bogus. Since that time, we have received dozens and dozens of Faxes and letters demanding payment. I reported it to the BBB and to the Federal website for scams like this. So far, this "company" has not relented. I am assuming that we have not heard the last. In a way, I look forward to talking to someone so I can give them a piece of my mind. The facts are that we have a small retail shop that my wife and I work 6 days a week. It's all we can do to maintain our business and are feeling at wit's end most days. For someone to try to do this to us is...criminal.
