Complaint Review: open doors & windows llc

Open doors and windows LLC located out of Jupiter Florida owner vernon wright.  This company was advertised on craigslist services section  This guy was contracted to install a frameless shower door.  His prices were good appearantly for a reason.  He has a legitimate contract and business cards.  He cons you into the sale by saying that his supplier is offering 10% off until the end of the week.  He brings along a woman to help him measure and write out the contract.   He requested an initial deposit for materials but wouldnt accept credit cards because he claimed people were disputing the charges with the cc company and winning and than he gets stuck with a custom product that he cant use anywhere else. 

He was given a check which was cashed the following day. He told me that the initial date the materials was supposed to be in was delayed and pushed the installation up a week.  after that he failed to return phone /text messages and has been a month.

Per bbb he has a pending complaint involving the same scam that is still in the resolution process and not made visable to the public yet.
