Greg Goodnight hired my company to do fundraising and help bring in vendors for his events at the beginning of April 2012.   At that time, there was nothing on this website about OSYC. Greg Goodnight did have an event in April called Smoking for the Troops.  That was a flop.  Very few people showed up.  My company couldn't even market the event because Greg was always changing things and flying by the seat of his pants.

It was obvious he didn't know what he was doing but I gave him the benefit of the doubt BUT when the event was over he became MIA for 5 days with no phone, email, or cell phone contact.  You can't run a business or organization like this.  Now for the Troopfest event.  First, he was supposed to have Reba, then it was Big & Rich, then Clay Walker, Brooks & Dunn, etc... until he finally said that he definitely had Gretchen Wilson and was just waiting to get the contract back.  Troopfest 2012 was also supposed to be at Sam Boyd Stadium and he was always coming up with some sob story as to why he wasn't able to do this or that or he would get me the info. first thing in the morning, and then that morning turned into another morning, then another week, you get my drift.  BTW, the event NEVER was on Sam Boyd's website or
Thomas and Mack's website, or showed up on UNLV ticket hub.  Always promising but never delivering.....  Then he comes back and tells us that he has had a falling out with Sam Boyd Stadium and now the event will be at The New Silver Bowl Park but this would be much better for everyone including the vendors because it won't be so hot.  I also asked
him to lower the price for vendor booths since it wasn't going to cost as much for the event and he said absolutely not!

His prices were very competitive with other events. (even though vendors were telling us his prices were too high)  He then tells me that, Wow!  Gretchen Wilson signed with someone else at the last minute but he's sure that he can get George Strait and he's trying to find someone to put up the $50,000 deposit for him and of course here it is literally a month before this event.  The real kicker is that he calls me tonight telling me that the county called him this morning at 8:30 telling him that they will have to push the event back 30 days because it will be too hot and they don't want people dying,  and now the event is planned for August 25-26th.   REALLY???  He is the one who set the date for July 14-15th.  Does he think that he can push that load of crap on me?  He was WAY OVER HIS HEAD and just needed more time.  I told him that I was DONE and I didn't want my name or business associated with him or Operation Show You Care.  People listen up!!  He is a Con Artist and the lowest scum of the earth for preying on innocent people and for using our military as a front for his money grubbing operation.  He owes my company $7000.00 in marketing expenses that I will never see.

Also, he does not keep good records of who donates.  He couldn't even send me a list of previous donors, or remember how much they donated.  Beware of Greg Goodnight and Operation Show You Care!!

The lady posting this report Jeree Harris is wrong about just about everything written above. I don't mind someone speaking their peace, but one this site sure isn't the place because you can never erase it, correct it or anything, it's here forever. I'm going to keep this short. Jerre has never met me or anyone with our company. She did NOT attend the BBQ in April, so she has no idea how it actually turned out and our company owes her nothing. If she was a person of good integrity she would get back online this posting and tell the truth. She only sold two vendor spaces the whole time she was contracted by us. She sent the commission checks back to us, both combined were like $550 or something, then she turned around and put a stop payment on them. I have all of this should anyone care to seek the truth before passing judgement. I have many, many vendors that know us and have worked with us and know what have been through, many have been in the vendor business for over 30 years, I will not post their names or numbers up here but I will be happy to provide anyone that would like to know the truth names, numbers of other vendors thats have been to our events and continue to do so. We put on some really good events and different events bringing something new to the table be sure to check our Upcoming Events page for all the details. And please be responcible when writing on the internet about others, it could happen to you. So don't write things that are not true that you can't go back and change. Every event we do helps us support the military, should you like more information, look at our home page on the web site and click the news links on the page and see the good we actually due for our troops. Dont let what 3 people say out of hundreds we work with keep you form attending our events making you money, as well as supporting our troops. Thank you and god bless you.
