Back in early June, I received a letter from Opportunities Unlimited Publications (OPP) stating that I was I had qualified for $16000, but to register my potential chance of winning, I had to send a money order to them for $23. Stupidly, I did this.

Yesterday, 2 June 2008, I received another letter dated 23, June 2008 from (OPP) stating I was in the Final Round 1 Judgement:100% correct - Money Bank XI Tiebreaker I Advancement, approving the highest amount of my potential winnings to be raised to $21,000. As in the 1st letter, I had to answer a maths questions : Which has greater value - A bank deposit of 23 $100 bills / or / Bank deposit of 250 $20 bills.

Naturally, excited about the chance of winning some money, with a guaranteed win of $100 AUD, I thought "what the heck".

Again, it requested payment with four options, the option I chose was to pay $40, which is the Grand Prize Elite Upgrade Option, which means I accept the highest aware upgrade possible. So, I filled out the form and this time, included my credit card details, as the cost of an international money order was ridiculous, paid my $2 postage fee and sent it on it's merry way.

Now, whether I had a moment of clarity, but just 30 mins ago, I was looking at the copy of the letter/s I had recieved from OPP, and it occurred to me that there were not contact numbers or email address, which kind of struck me as odd. So, I googled the company and got the shock of my life... I found that they were a SCAM and ripoff with alot of people that had been conned.

In a mad panic, I rang the Post Office where I had sent the letter from today, and THANKFULLY they had not sent it out. That sick feeling in my gut had been lifted, now knowing that my credit card details would not be in the hands of a pack of scamming, conning scum bags, and the guy at the Post Office who intercepted my letter, he asked why I was so stressed and I told him. He is kindly posting this letter back to my home address where I will be gladly destroying it... the thought of OPP getting hold of my credit card details is just horrific, and I just thank God that something made me check up on Opportunities Unlimited Publications (OPP) today.

Do not fall for this scam people! I just can't believe it.... hope they get their just desserts for conning the innocent around the world.
