8/22/16.I visited Optical 2000 for an eye exam. After the eye exam, I was taken to the optical area. I had brought my own frames to save money. 

9/14/16. I received a phone call that my glasses were ready. I went to pick them up. I could not read out of them. So they "needed an adjustment". Shortly, after giving my glasses, to an employee--they returned to apologize to tell me they had broken my frames. These were expensive frames. I did sign a waiver in regard to them breaking the frames-they would not be responsible. However, the waiver did not say anything about making lenses that are of no use. As well, they tried to sell me another pair of frames (20% discount) so this would cost me an additional $148.00.

So far they have received $293.00 from me for lenses that are useless and $230.00 from the insurance company for the eye exam. Total $523.00. I still can not see and I have broken frames and useless lenses. They do not want to give my my money back. I have talked to the insurance company and they will not get their money back either.

This is poor service. They do not have the equipment or parts necessary to work on frames that they take. At best, they should have said "we can't use your frames". See, either way, they make money off of frames and insurance and do not have to provide service.

As I was waiting for them, I tried on several pairs of glasses that were in the optical shop and "all of them" would have needed "an adjustment". So, I am not convinced that they know what they are doing. 

Also my husband went back two times on two different occasions for the "proper contacts". He still can't see and doesn't have contacts either. So they got paid two times and did not provide the right service.
