This is an advisory to stay away from OpticsFast. I wish that I had read other reports on Ripoff Report before I sent my prescription glasses and frames in for repair. Perhaps this report will save you some aggrivation and money.

They (OpticsFast) will ask you to send your broken glasses in for repair, and they will evaluate them and then tell you the price of repair or replacement. They will then send you an email with the estimate($59.00 in my case) and ask that you send the money via credit card plus the shipping (around $15.00). My total came to about $75.00.

The "repaired" glasses are then returned via Fedex. When you open the box you will find either no repair (in my case) or an insultingly bad repair as others have reported.

Attempts to contact them will put you into "Voicemail hell" and you will never get to speak with a human being. They will send a standard email apoligizing for being busy and ask you to contact "Becky" by email with the details. When you do, you will get no satisfaction and a lot of excuses. They will claim that they checked with the lab and that you are mistaken. They will offer to sell you discounted frames.

After complete frustration, if you ask your credit card for a chargeback, they will counter with a copy of the repair estimate stating that you have the right to send back your glasses for repair and counter claim to your bank that you never contacted them and never exercised your option to complain. The bank will reverse your refund and you are left to "work it out"with the merchant - which will get you nowhere. Others repeat the same experience.

My advice: Stay away!
