So I came a across a trial offer when I was on Facebook one day and it looked like a good deal. I would receive two weeks worth of Garcinia Cambogia pills for $4.95 plus shipping. I filled out the information and then gave my card information and was charged that amount.

Two weeks later, I got onto my bank app on my phone and saw that my balance was negative. Whatever had caused to to go negative hadn't shown up yet so I waited until this morning. I got on and saw that this website had charged me $79.95. I was not very happy and proceeded to call the customer service number after searching for the website for ten minutes.

When an operator answered, he was very rude and blunt with me. He said that the terms and conditions were stated before I gave my card information and that when I checked the box, I agreed to them. It says that you'll be charged a monthly subscription after the free trial.

First off, the website that he gave me wasn't the website that I purchased the product from and I tried to explain to him that those terms and conditions were not presented to me and he wouldn't listen. He was very rude and just kept repeating the same thing over and over again, "You agreed to the terms and conditions when you checked the box." He said that to everything that I said to him.

He said that he wouldn't give me a refund even though it hadn't shipped yet. He said that he could give me 25% back to my card for the misunderstanding. I asked if he had every given anyone a bigger refund than that and he wouldn't give me a straight answer, he kept saying that he could give me 25% back.

I asked if I could speak to his supervisor or manager and he told me that he was the only person that I could talk to. So I wasn't allowed to speak to a supervisor and Ray (that was his name) was extremely rude to me. I work in customer service and I would never treat somebody like that. I've had issues where I was charged a membership fee and if I contacted them the day I was charged, they apologized and refunded it to me.

This all happened the day after I was charged, as soon as the pending charge went through. I am not happy with this company, I will not do business with them again, and I strongly advice anyone against doing business with them. I was ripped off and if there's anything I could do about it, I would. I just have no idea what I can do.
