Optimum Cable vision, Optimum Online, Optimum by altice Unfair excessive charge for reconnecting after its unreasonal price hike without customer knowledge

Optimum increased the price of its TV/Internet/phone and I have been paying the old bill through bank autopay every month, I got disconnected because the increased fee was not paid and I was not aware of this increased fee so didn't change my bank autopay.  A $35 reconnecting fee was charged for that month, every piece of equipment from Optimum - cable box, Internet, Phone were levied a fee for that automatic one seond turnon.  I called to explain the situation, the customer service person said she couldn't help and wouldn't give refund.

This is totally unethical, unfair and ripoff business practice, it's equivalent to MAFIA behavior because they  know they are the only game in town and customers couldn't do anything about it.

The regulators should really look into this.  Image how many customers they ripped off this way.

I had a severe outrage back in the spring time, I asked the customer service to refund me for the three days that I had no power and no usage, I was told they cannot refund what happened in the past, I should have called when that incident happened.  How unreasonable.

I hope the management of Optimum sees this and think about how to serve the customers better than ripping them off through unfair, unethical billing.
