Complaint Review: Optimum One Health

I'm so disappointed I joined this plan, to say the least!!  I paid $368 per MONTH for coverage I could have gotten for less or simply paid up front at the doctor's office per visit.  The doctor visits are $120, and we used a total of 3! Yes, they paid their measly $75 per visit, but after 6 months they had $2200 of my money!  Just pay the doc yourself and you'll be ahead.  The dental's a joke!  Just ask for the discounted rate at the dental center, and you'll likely get it.  The prescription plan is through Planet Drugs Direct out of Canada, and they've been great, but ANYONE can buy from them. Go for it!!  Save your money.  My wife went to the ER with severe abdominal pain last week, and they gave us $200 off their "discounted" emergency room rate, so we now ONLY owe the ER $2700 instead of 2900!!  What a JOKE.  I'm so ticked off but have no recourse since they caught me in a moment of desperation after our company health insurance was canceled and the salesman was quite gifted with his gab.  RUN/Hang up the phone!!  There are better options for you.  Heck, save your money and pay the docs upfront!
