Complaint Review: Option Mortgage Lending

I agreed to sign the papers 99% sure that I was going to cancel. Then I got really sick, it was xmas, and somehow I missed the 3 day limit, my fault. Even if I would have cancelled, I would have been gigged for $350 for the appraisal. The loan was nothing like we agreed to.
I called San Diego home loan counseling (619-624-2330). Andrea told me it is unlawful if the broker's loan origination fees, processing fee, and underwriting fee exceeds 4 percent of the loan amount. If it does you can report them to the Department of real estate (619-525-4192). They can revoke the brokers license. So that's what I'm going to do.
