This company has cause more grief for my husband and I, we too have a mortage with Option One. We have falling behind in our mortgage payments, due to medical bills (husband was diagnose with cancer) we had no choice but to file bankruptcy, to save our house and autos. During the time from 2005 to now, we have been making our house payments, plus our bankruptcy payments, in April we fell behind, work was slow for hubby.

We sent in a half month payment which they accepted, later on we sent in remaining half, they have sent that back and said that we are now in pre-foureclose (?), we have called to make arrangements and they have refused to talk to us about it . We have put the house up for a short sale....after finally getting some one to talk to us about our home....we were told that they would accept a short sale of around the 145,000.00, Our house was listed for 144, 900.00, within 3 weeks we had a bidder for the amount of 142,900.00. They have said NO they WOULD NOT accept this bid, option one stated that they are only going to look at bid in the 160's, in our neighbor we have 10 house's for sale signs and 6 of them are listed for short sale.

Option One will not even talk to us about a re-fi, or a modifaction. We have called all their numbers, we also get a person that hard to understand (heavy Indian accent), who told me to find some another mortgage company, they do not want to keep us as their customer, and hung up on me!! We are trying to find some one to accept us to re-fiance and to keep our home. How many more people out there have Option One mortgage that they are rapeing??? WE NEED A LAWYER that will stand up to this predator Mortgage company to start a class action law suit.

Please let me in on this class action suite if
you are following up on it. I believe that this
company needs to be responsible for their
actions.
