I WORKED IN THEIR CUST. SERV dept. if you can call it that. a lot of our day was spent dealing with people who didn't want to be on the site, dummies who couldn't remember their passwords, or people who needed to switch pictures and stuff.

My favorite was when someone got a call for a real booking (yes, there really are folks who got jobs thru their clients) and would just call up and say, "yeah, um, like I got some message to call someone about a job or something to be like, a model."

well, who left the message? "I dunno." What extension did they tell you to call so I may transfer you? "dunno."

what was the job in reference to so maybe someone in the dept. will recognize it? "dunno." dummies. but there were also a lot of legit people who either didn't understand what they were signing up for or maybe didn't listen when they said it was non-refundable.

the worst ones were when a wife would sign up and a few weeks later her husband saw the charge on the credit card bill and flipped out. then we got to tell them it was non-refundable. the husbands would go nuts.

here are actual customer service letters we received- I saved a few of the juicier ones.

"To whom it may concern:
Your company sucks! You ripped me off for almost 500 bucks (editor- this is before their price rose to 595) and you haven't done s**t for me. I've been up for 3 months on your website and you guys got me exactly 2 bookings thru some lame a*s agency here in Chicago. I only made $20 bucks an hour to hand out some stuff, not the 50 an hour you guys said I might make doing modeling. and then they didn't even pay me for almost 3 weeks after. I had to pay for parking and lunch that day but the agency didn't pay me for almost a month.

This isn't what your talent executive sharon promised me when she sold me this crap. I want my $495 back and $39.90 for the 2 months I've paid for (editor- Options charges 19.95 a month with the first month included in the initial fee)."

that's just a sample of what we got- I'll be posting a lot more! AND THE TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE (Jim Carrey, "Liar, Liar"- greatest movie ever)
