Do NOT be fooled by the staged positive reviews - unfortunately I was.  Do your research to find very consistent negative reviews, including the F rating by the BBB.

OC Pools serviced our Yorba Linda home from 4/2011 to 7/2011.  We experienced more issues in 3mos than we ever did in the previous 5-years. Our tenant continually complained about the lack of service and condition of the pool.  When I approached Brian he quit mid month but yet charged for the whole month. 

Due to the lack of experience of his technician we replaced a pump basket twice in a 2-month period.  The 2nd time it melted because the pump ran dry for over a week (that we are aware of).  His tech didn't catch the issue even though our tenant told him the pool cleaner had no suction.  In the end we had to pay another company to repair the damage his tech had done.  Thankfully the entire pump did not burn up. 

OC Pools not only caused damage to our pool by utilizing inexperienced technicians, their customer service is horrible.  And instead of correcting the issue, they just quit and then charged for services either not performed or service calls not authorized.  When I refused to pay the erroneous charges I received a series of threats from the owner, Brian.  He has since filed a mechanics lien and now submitted $291 to a collection agency.  This total doesn't even match the disputed charges.  Brian would not take my phone calls and blocked my email address so that I could not contact him.  When I sent an email from another address he blocked that one too. 

This is an unprofessional company with a childish owner and should not be in business.  Thankfully they only serviced our pool for 3mos but a year later I am very happy with our new company but unfortunately still dealing with the immature business practices of this company.  It's not worth it, there are too many good companies out there.  I also reported them to the BBB.

This is the nonsense you will be exposed to if you do business with this company, all over $291 (what he 'thinks' is owed to him).  WOW.  The collection agency refused his case and I have handed this off to my attorney to deal with this nonsense once and for all.

Subject: cease and desist harassment

You will immediately cease and desist harassment and contact to OCPS.  You write another false review or contact this company again we will be filing a police report with Brea Police Department for harassment and seeking a restraining order in Orange County Superior Court.  In addition you have posted several false statements about OCPS in retaliation for us sending you to collections and filing a lien on your proerty for monies owed to us. You can feel free to check OC and LA County court records we have successfully sued several deadbeats such as yourself for false postings and won including attorney fees.  One was well over 6 figures.  So go ahead, I dare you!

 OCPS has serviced over 16,000 SATISFIED customers since 1996  and had ONLY 40 complaints with the BBB.  Interesting how EACH AND EVERY complaint is a deadbeat who owes OCPS money, we have liened their property and either sued or sent them to collections.  We have never had a legitimate complaint.

You also fail to recall WE STOPPED YOUR SERVICE.   It is not the job of OCPS to add water to your pool, it is your job!  If your pump runs try that is YOUR problem, not ours.   I have emails confirming you owe us money, you approved a filter cleaning you never paid and on.   I can start posting about your business and filing false complaints as you have us.... lets see how you like it.

 Instead of being a white trash classless lowlife and putting your home and assets at risk through a court proceeding for libel and defamation, pay the money you owe OCPS.  Again, you contact or harass us again I'm suing you.  There's a reason your emails have been blocked.

It's interesting how Orange County Pool & Spa Service has serviced over 16,000 SATISFIED clients since 1996 and has ONLY 40 complaints with the BBB in 15 years.  Each and every complaint has the same thing in common as Shelly Sanders, they did not pay their bill, OCPS has filed a mechanic's lien on their property and either sued them or send the account to collections. OCPS has never had even one legitimate complaint in 15 years. Just deadbeats complain.

Oh, and the BBB will give you an A+ if you continue to pay them their annual subscription rates.  In early 2011 OCPS had a A with the BBB, we cancelled our membership and since have been lowered.  The BBB is similar to the mob or politican.   To prove my point Yelp has over 400 complaints and has an A because they are a PAID member.

Also a warning to anyone who posts false information about OCPS we have successfully sued several posters for libel and defamation and in addition to an award we obtain attorneys fees.  OCPS takes it's reputation VERY serious!!  Be warned you will be sued.

To address Shelly Sanders false posting we have filed a lien against her property.  When Shelly hired us she did nothing but badmouth the previous company and how they ruined this, and ruined that....It is not the pool service technicans job to add water to the pool, that is the owner or tenants job.  We made many many free trips outside of pool service per request iof the tenant and Shelly, without charge!  Shelly owes OCPS money for pool service and filter cleanings she approved and we have the emails.  OCPS has never preformed any repair work on the pool and is owed for weekly cleaning and filter cleaning in addition to a melted basket.. which is our fault how????


In addition to the aforementioned issues OCPS CHOSE TO TERMINATE POOL SERVICE FOR SHELLY SANDERS AND HER TENANT AS WE FELT WE WERE NOT A GOOD MATCH.  SHELLY SANDERS DID NOT STOP OUR SERVICE.  I have the emails to prove once again this woman is a habitual liar.  She too owns a business, I wonder if she'll appreciate what I'm going to write online about her business....



Bottom line Shelly Sanders, pay your bill!
