I don't know the name of the traffic court judge, but several years ago I opted for court for a minor traffic offense- passing across a wendy's instead of taking the intersection. Everyday thousands of cars take that illegal 'shortcut' and are never caught (not saying it's ok but it's not a huge deal). When I got stopped by the police, he was very rude and intended to humiliate me, the same way many cops in Orlando humiliate and harass young women. He made a big deal about it, and was attempting to embarrass and humiliate me, even though I had to get to an important doctor's appointment and wasn't feeling well.

He mocked me, and then left. I opted for traffic court, like many people do, and when I went to the court, there was an old white male who was judge. There were many people in court--people who were rude, who had offenses far worse than I did, who were arguing angrily with the judge for any little thing.

When it was my turn to step up to talk to the judge, I was polite and told him my story, and was opting to take the school and pay the fine. This arrogant mean rude basta*d and jerk, just sat there staring at me and mockingly and arrogantly said to me "you've been to traffic school a lot, so I'm going to put the points on your license." He had no reason to 'put the points on my license' except that he had the power to do so and wanted to be a jerk ONLY TO ME.

Every single other person in that courtroom--rude people, obnoxious people, jerks and loud people who were arguing and being mean and who had bigger offenses were ALL allowed to go to traffic school. The judge didn't put points on my license because "I had been to traffic school too many times" he was just being a mean jerk and arrogant bully and picking on ME because he had the power to. He smirkingly said that to me as if he was doing me some kind of favor or in a way to let me know he wanted to specifically target ME.

I was furious, because he has no right to do that--that was ridiculous discrimination on that old racist jerks part..my mother tried calling him later on to ask him why he targeted one young female college student, for no reason, but she got no response from his secretary.

The old people in orlando are mean jerks and MANY of them discriminate against young people especially young women. This is a common thing in that horrible evil city--they make sure to go OUT OF THEIR WAY to discriminate and bully in ridiculous ways young people, and especially nice and polite people--if you are mean, arrogant, loud, rude and obnoxious they respect you in that wicked evil city, but if you are nice all these jerks do is bully you and treat you badly, and even treat you as if you've done something wrong. This is a very terrible city, and that mean old nasty rotten pathetic traffic court judge had NO RIGHT to discriminate against me just to single me out and try to bring me down..he's a pathetic jerk and that low class loser shouldn't even be a judge.

Orlando is a horrible city that treats young women terribly..all those evil bullies, especially this ridiculous clown of a traffic court judge should be reprimanded for their discriminatory and unfair actions.

Anger is understandable

I can completely understand the anger for your situation, truly I can. I too have had very unpleasant experiences through the court systems. However, I think you need to take a few steps back from your own situation and really look at everything from all points of view. From your post I am assuming that you are a young college student of a race other than white/Caucasian. Especially if this is true I am sure you do see discrimination at times, so I cannot help but feel apathy.

Now my look from the outside - having so many young college students here in Orlando, not including the thousands that come here for spring breaks, festivals, and other such "fun-in-the-sun" events means an extreme amount of chaos for the local law enforcement to deal with here. They deal with one obnoxious young college drunk after another, and the young women are the worst because they for some reason tend to be much more unpleasant to deal with behavior-wise.

(Side Note - Does this mean all young college students are like this? Not at all...it simply means we have a larger concentration of fine young college students here so the amount of party going trouble makers will be higher also.)

(Side Note 2 - Even though this may be true, does it give law enforcement the right to behave in a non-professional manner? Absolutely not.)

However, we are all human so honestly...even though it was wrong I understand "why" the officer may have reacted the way he did. We all have bad days, and you have no idea what he had to deal with that day before you came along. Not making excuses for him at all, if he did indeed behave this way it was still wrong. My point is if you reacted this rash when he approached you with the violation (which you agree you committed) then you may very well have provoked his reaction in turn. ....just a thought.

Now let us look at another thing you admitted to honestly in your post. You stated you had not one, not two or three, but "several" traffic violations. Have they all been paid? What types of traffic violations? I am sorry but if you truly have "several" traffic violations then the judge probably was doing you a favor. I realize being young and embarrassed by the entire situation makes that hard to admit but it may very well be true.

So, my advice although not asked for I figure people post their feelings about anything publicly in hopes to get responses so here goes. First thing I would suggest is take that race card you are trying to play and put that sucker back in the deck it came out of. I see absolutely nothing in your posted account of the incident that can bring about any charges or accusations of racism. Racism, Rape, Murder...all these things are not just words my dear young lady...these are powerful accusations that should never even be uttered publicly unless you have proof in stone. This is a lesson all young people need to learn quickly in life. The second part of my advice is - try to use a little less temper and look at things from all angles before you jump to conclusions, get upset, or make judgments.

I am not saying you were or were not treated badly or wrongly. All I am saying is we need to all take responsibility for our own actions, treat each other has human beings, and not be so quick to anger...anger will cloud the judgment of the wise.

How is he a Racist? Based on what you said you can say that he is "SEXIST" but not a racist. There is no mention on what race You or the judge is.

My opinion

#4Consumer Suggestion

Sorry to hear about your problem, I do not think it is right for law enforcement to mock, humiliate or anything of that nature and I think they should be dealt with when they do. However I have some questions to ask:

Have you been to traffic school a few times?

Did you do anything illegal?

NO I don't agree that people should be treated differently in any manner at all. Although, I have found that if you do not make illegal turns, speed, ect. police usually don't bother you. Just because some one commits a crime or breaks the law, does not mean it is ok for you to.

My suggestion is to obey the law then come back and make a complaint when they harass you for just minding it.

Again, I am sorry you were treated in a bad manner
