I received an email from Orange Municipal, a contact named Anita Bush letting me know that she reviewed my resume and was excited to have me join their HR department...etc, etc, etc.
The email even gave a date and time to meet with the hiring team.
The email then instructed me to complete a questionaire regarding my secondary education because the position is normally performed by someone with a more advanced college degree.
Nobody ever gets hired by simply reading your resume and never even speaking with you...thats the first big red flag.
The fact that they are really trying to get you to enroll in one of the "for profit" universities is just another tricky way to get leads for Admissions Advisors at various universities. They prey on people who are unemployed.
I was an Admissions Advisor and most of the new leads come from people who were simply looking for a job. Also, unless you specifically state "please place me on the Do Not Call list" they will continue calling you. The rule is they must contact you three times a day for the first three days after your lead is generated...and they will continue to call until you say Do Not Call.
Total scam!
