I  took a free class at Orange Theory Fitness in Parkland and was asked to join. Knowing how inflexible my job is with all the travel required; I did not want to be locked into a contract.  I was told about joining and paying month to month. Although it was more expensive this route, I decided it was the best option as my job and travel associated with it can change on a daily basis.

After my workout I was asked to sign a sigle form that didn't even have all that mumbo jumbo you see on usual contracts. Apparently there was some fine print that  was never explained to me. Come to find out I would need a 30 day cancelation notice and have been charged a whole 149.00 for a month that I will not use. Crazy thing is I didn't even get a copy of this form.

This is such an unethical way for a company to get extra money out of someone.  Furthermore, I had to bring myself into the actual location to sign paperwork to put the cancelation in effect, making my obligation of paying drag out even further, as I was out of state at the time I requested it.

Sadly, I would have recommended this gym as it was a great workout; unfortunately, didn't fit my schedule.  Now I have a bad taste and have lived in my community for 12 years and have been letting my friends know of this.

You would think comapanies would value thier customers in way to help them flourish and prosper in the long run...
