ORBITZ.com leaves passengers STRANDED

Well, weve all heard about Midway Air going belly up...For me, that is just the tip of the iceberg. I hold 3 tickets on a return flight from Orlando in October which were purchased thru Orbitz.

When I purchased the round-trip tickets, we were scheduled to leave for Orlando via US Air and return via Midway. I called Orbitz 3 times Tuesday trying to get placed on another flight, to no avail.

They told me to contact Midway. Midway told me that since I bought thru Orbitz, I gotta get Orbitz to do it. I call them back and was told Id receive a call in 24 hours.

A day later, I call again and am told they would call me in an hour. And hour later, I called and was told theyd call in another hour. That was 3 hours ago.

DO NOT BUY TICKETS FROM ORBITZ!!! You can get the same deals at the AIRLINE WEBSITES!!!! Do yourself a favor and get US AIr tickets while youre at it: I called them and they put me on another of their flights, no additional charge and informed me that Midway had even cancelled my original tickets without so much as a how do you do!! Buy US Air direct and travel hassle free!!!!
