I called to change the return home flight to a different departure city and day. I talked to Ryan on the phone. A very nice person that I could tell English was not his native language. I asked multiple times what would be the price of both tickets total and he stated $719.01. Later I found that the charge was $719.01 per ticket. $1438.02 for the two tickets that originally cost $853.98 which is a $944.04 increase. I called back to explain the problem to Rebecca how put me in touch with the manager Amanda at 3:30 PM eastern time on 6-4-08. She said that they could only refund $60 for there charges. I told her that I could not understand the person and she told me the person had entered all the information in the computer so they must be correct and that all of there employee's speak English. This is true to a point but can they be understood? I asked why I would agree to a $944.04 charge if I could get the tickets that I found on Travelocity (Orbitz competitor) for $354. She said that they could not tell us if there was a cheaper way. What is the point of the company if they can not tell us what the best option would be to travel? In closing the complaint is the following. I asked many time what the total cost of both tickets would be and I was quoted $719.01 so I wonder why I would be charged double?
