I made a reservation online with orbitz.com. There was a typo with the date booking by accident from June 12th checking out on June 14th. I called Orbitz customer service immediately after the booking was made and informed them that it was supposed to be from June 13th checking out on June 15th. They put me on hold twice to call the hotel which told them that for an additional $200 they would change my reservation dates and not charge me a fee only if I upgraded my room. While I was on the phone with orbits I called the hotel on the other line and explained my situation to them period they explained to me that the change could be made through Orbitz only and that there was nothing that they could do. I explained to both the hotel and orbit so this was a typo and that I called customer service immediately after the reservation was booked. Escalated the call to a supervisor who was additionally no help. She offered to book me an extra night at a discounted rate which actually was more extensive than the rate that I could get online if I booked it myself. Unbelievable how terrible the customer service is at this company. After spending an hour and 8 minutes on hold and talking to customer service they were unable to do anything for me.
