Orbitz Orbitz terrible customer service and lies Internet

 I made a reservation on Orbitz on June 29 for a hotel.  After making the reservation I went to the hotel website to show my husband the hotel.  We noticed the hotel price per night rate was cheaper than Orbitz's quote.  We call Orbitz and it had a 30 minute wait but suggested you send an email.  We did.  This is July 13th and we never recieved a reply.  Upon our departure from the hotel we received the final invoice from the hotel.  It was almost 40.00 cheaper than what we paid (with a coupon we used!)  I called Orbitz and had to wait over an hour to get someone to help me.  The person I spoke to (Carter) said the amount would be credited to my the next night per his supervisor (Kim).  It is 6 days later and no credit.  I called again and I was on the phone for over an hour again and was told the 40 dollars was what Orbitz makes off the reservation and they cannot credit me the difference in the hotel bill and what I was charged.  Where is the price assurance they claim? I could have gone directly to the hotel and got the same price Orbitz got so why use Orbitz?  It certainly isn't convenient since they can't seem to answer the phone or help you!  This is a rip-off for sure!
