Orchard Bank Do not even get involved Baltimore, Maryland
Orchard Bank is attempting to continue to collect an annual fee of $39.00 to my account even though I have requested my account be closed. I contacted them to explain that paying annual fee for a credit card no longer open is ludicrous! Thier responses was that I will continue to be charged an annual fee until my account is paid off. Following with a "Are you sure you still want to close your account?" Unbelievable! Be aware of money making ripoffs like these!

It doesn't matter what Credit Card you are with, until your account has a zero balance it is NOT closed. Yes you may have requested it to be closed, and they may not allow any new charges. But until it is paid off you are subject to the terms of the account. This includes Annual/Monthly Fees, Interest Rates, and penalties if you are late.
