Complaint Review: ORECK CORP

I applied for a vacuum from oreck corp several months ago, i was informed, on-line, that my credit wasn't good enough. a few days later, i was contacted by a representative, stating they could do it with a debit from my account each month, after getting the information, he said i would receive my vacuum. for 6 months, payments were taken from my account the only way i could stop it was to change accounts, i notified oreck, i never received a cleaner, they said they would look into it.

two months later, they threatened w/credit report if i didn't pay, and i would receive a cleaner, i mailed in two payments, via of money order, i sent them an email, explaining again, that i still had not received merchandise, they just said ok, now, i receive another call from a collection agency, asking me to pay for something i did not receive, and when i refused, was told again, it was going against my credit, i told them go ahead, it didn't matter. to date, 4/8/04, i still have not received anything. thanks for listening
