  1. Electronic video terminals technology has advanced in sophistication, loss disguised as win; machine rigging, the newer slot machines themselves, with deceptive technology called virtual reel mapping, that seem to be designed to lull gamblers into a trance, or what the industry refers to as "continuous gaming productivity" so they don't stop playing and near wins can prolong gambling activity on a video lottery terminal. This practice of showing combinations that is similar to winning combinations more frequently than would occur randomly is called "near-miss" programming. It has been ruled illegal in the U.S. states of Nevada and New Jersey. The Nevada Gaming Commission did review some machines with this type of programming and refused to authorize them. The calculation is more complicated than implied here.

Completely unregulated in most states, no one was prepared for the social devastation unleashed by the proliferation of VLT gaming. Countless stories of tragedy, financial ruin and suicide linked to VLT have made their very existence controversial, yet they remain widely available for play in many jurisdictions. I am only asking for the return of my savings and a small amount of suffering. I believe I have presented a sufficient amount of evidence to support my position, confirming risks from respectable, expert, accredited, institutions and individuals and the state’s failure of accountability and responsibility. I believe the Oregon Lottery Commission through fraud, misrepresentation, negligence, and breaches of duty of care and trust has profited by my great personal injury. I lost my entire savings which was the down payment for my own home, I am currently homeless and my dream of owning my own home now gone.

I was a responsoble gambler until I played Big City 5's and lost control. Yes something is very wrong here.
