Complaint Review: Orr Construction Nate Orr Jim Orr Nick Orr

Nate Orr sent our HVAC company a payment plan back in Dec of 2009.  They were to have us paid in full by July of 2010.  They only made 2 payments totalling $1000.00 of the approximately $12,000.00 owed to us.  Those were only made after NUMEROUS phone calls and e-mails. 

In August of 2010, I, once again, started calling.  I asked for Jim Orr (another supplier said they only got paid after talking to Jim, and they only got partial payment).  Emily Brown told me NEVER to ask for Jim and put me through to Nate.  Nate also told me NEVER to ask for Jim Orr.  Nate stated that he would always take my phone calls and answer e-mails.  Nate told me he would make another payment plan, a realistic one this time.  So on August 17, 2010 we received another payment plan with payments starting in August 2010 and ending in May 2011.   WE HAVE NEVER BEEN PAID A DIME.

Once again, we have left numerous messages.  Tammy Hutchings finally called me back in Sept of 2010 and said she was sending a payment that week and one the following week and then we would be up-to-date with the payment plan.  WE HAVEN'T RECEIVED A DIME!  We haven't heard from ORR again.

We are meeting with our attorney tomorrow and plan to do whatever we can to get paid by Orr!

When Nate Orr saw my original report, he called the owner of our HVAC company and BEGGED him to remove the Ripoff Report and agreed to a payment plan.  Apparently, someone read the report and refused to work with Orr Construction until it was updated.  Nate also sent rebuttals on the other reports against Orr.  Nate quickly sent a check for $500, and I updated my report immediately (per our agreement).  The second payment due in January of 2010 for only $500 of the $11,000 still owed, was only mailed to us after we called and e-mailed numerous times.

After countless e-mails and phone calls (none of which were returned) I called and left a message with Nate saying I would be in the next day to pick up my past due payments for January, February and March.  Nate Orr had Emily Brown, the receptionist, call me back and say there will be no check for me to pick up, and they are just trying to keep their company afloat!  HMMMM, they appear to have a full staff still on baord and yet refuse to pay their subcontractors.  So whatever they present on their website about Honesty, Integrity and Commitment is all just a bunch of Crap! 

Nate, I will make sure that all our vendors, subcontractor friends, and mutual friends, (yes, we do have mutual friends) are aware of the way you treat your subs! 

Since filing my original report, Orr Construction has contacted our company and made arrangements to make payments to our HVAC company for the work we performed.  We have already received the first check!
