On Oct 2005, I moved into a home owned by Oscar Gutierrez and his sister Gabriela Macias. Upon moving into the home, I was told that all utilities were included in the rent. Approximately four months after moving in the mother of O. Gutierrez and G. Macias left the country to visit her homeland. This is when the problems started. The brother of the above mentioned individuals, E. Gutierrez, brought over an older gentleman that was not in a solid mental state. Then older gentle (Mike) destroyed our food (mine and my roommate's) and began to damage the house. I did not call the cops because of the man's mental condition (I assumed he was suffering from Alzheimer's).

Upon repeated calls to O. Gutierrez, E. Gutierrez finally came by and picked Mike up and took him away somewhere. All our food was destroyed, the laundry detergents had been replaced with water, fireplace was torn apart, birds were flying around in the house, cigarette butts were laying around everywhere, food had been opened mixed into disgusting concoctions and placed all over the house and the living room couch's leg was busted. Needless to say, we did not feel the need to clean up Mike's mess beyond what was necessary for our convenience. We asked that E. Gutierrez be sent back over to clean up the mess; since the individual responsible was invited over by him. He did not return and we did not clean it for him.

Two weeks later, E. Gutierrez brought over another person that used our television in the community area upstairs to watch pay-per view porno and left us with the bill. We still did not complain. We got permission from O. Gutierrez to change the locks on the door to keep his shady brother away from us and our home. Approximately 9 days after changing the locks, we were informed by O. Gutierrez to allow E. Gutierrez access to the home. E. Guitierez then proceeded to call his sister in California ( G. Macias) and tell her that we locked him out. I spoke on the phone with her and told her of all the trouble that E. Gutierrez was bringing into the home and she ingnored me. Her brother then proceeded to call me a liar in Spanish to her (I am moderately knowlegeable of Spanish) and then hell broke loose.

Exactly, one week after the phone conversation, G. Macias showed up at the home and blamed us tenants for the damage and filthy state of the house. She also proceeded to remove every piece of furniture from the house and told us we would have to pay the gas utility bill. This bill was, as previously stated, not our responsibility as utilities are included in the cost of rent.

E. Gutierrez proceeded to move into the property and bring in a dog that urinated all over the carpet, urinated and defecated all over the back porch. The house at this points begins to stink of urine. The gas bill was not paid and upon viewing the bill was previously unpaid for AT LEAST 2 months. We of course did not pay the bill and the gas was shut off. We have now decided to move into an apartment and so that we will have a way to find warm water for showers and an oven to cook our food.

I will never rent a room from anyone again and I would recommend to anyone moving to the las vegas area to stay as far away as possible from Oscar and Eddy Gutierrez and Gabriela Macias. I do not at this time have a scanner for photos, but, I do have before and after pictures of this property to show you what a disgrace we have been living in due to the poor social skill and betrayal by the Gutierrez family.

Exactly, one week after the phone conversation, G. Macias showed up at the home and blamed us tenants for the damage and filthy state of the house. In general, her attitude was very demeaning and nasty.

As soon as the gas was shut off, E. Gutierrez vacated the premises and left the property looking like an abandoned warehouse. We have now decided to move into an apartment and so that we will have a way to find warm water for showers and an oven to cook our food.

I will never rent a room from anyone again and I would recommend to anyone moving to the las vegas area to stay as far away as possible from O.and E. Gutierrez and G. Macias. I do not at this time have a scanner for photos, but, I do have before and after pictures of this property to show what a disgrace we have been living in due to greed and betrayal by certain members of the Gutierrez family.

These traitors pretended to care about us and be our friends. When E. Gutierrez arrived, we were cast aside and treated very badly; as if we were to blame for his behavior. They didn't care that the tenants were living in acceptable conditions, because, they woke up every morning to a warm shower, working heater and a way to cook their food. We were treated like dogs!

If you find yourself looking for a place to live in Sin City, and you come across these individuals-- Run! They are trouble!!
