I only use my AT$T line for DSL purposes. My bill is a rock-solid $66/mo

This month's January bill included a BOGUS charge for $16.86 from OSP Communications, and billed to The Billing Resource.

Here's why it is bogus:

Apparently I received a 10 minute collect call on Jan 13th from someone in San Francisco.
The number was 415 550-9612
I called that number today (3 weeks after the supposed call), and of course go the "You have reached a number that is no longer in service..." message.

Other reasons why it is BOGUS: My DSL line does not have a Fax machine on it. Nor does it have an answering machine on it. Nor does it have a physical or software phoneset connected to it. Nor do I have anyone that lives with me that brought over their physical phone, plugged it in, and verbally accepted the call.

So, who accepted the charge, and WHO DID THEY TALK TO FOR 10 MINUTES, since I don't live with anybody, and nobody has a spare key?

I filed an FTC and State Utilities Dept complaint, as well as contacted my local TV station.

We have to shut these dirtbags down.
