I purchased items online from OutbackPatio.com. The wesite looks legit and claims to have been in business forever and has a reported 100% satisfaction return policy blah blah blah. NOT TRUE!!

The items arrived and I found them to be unsatisfactory. I immediately emailed them for what they call a "Return Authorization Number". The email went unanswered for several days with the 14-day satisfaction clock ticking, so I phoned 1-801-486-4156. The phone usually answers with a mailbox is full, please hang up response. After a dozen calls it makes your head explode. If you happen to get lucky and leave a message it will be ignored and not returned, just like the email. The message announces as "Internet Commerce" when it does pick up. Ripoff clue #1- multiple company names.

STAY AWAY from this company! It turns out that all that these jokers do is drop ship form Ov**.com (((REDACTED FOR SECURITY PURPOSES))) anyway, after adding a fat profit margin to the Ov**.com price. The shipping label from Ov**.com had my name and another name- Avid Amifir or something similar, the label was smudged. Avid is probably the solid citizen running this scam.

New Owner of the Business

The business was sold to my company over 2 years ago. We are a member of the BBB and have a satisfactory rating. What ever practice that was alleged three years ago is not done today. We have a 1-800 and answer all questions promptly.

I have responded to this same complaint before from the same customer and tried to explain the circumstances. He seems to have a grievance against the previous owner. I wish he would take his complaint that is three years old to the previous owner and stop harassing my company.

This report refers to the original owner of the business. I purchased the business from him in 2007. We are a BBB "A" rated company and would not treat customers like this. We have a 1-800 number and would be happy to answer any of your question.
