On June 11, I ordered a set of scope rings for my Ruger rifle from Outdoor Interactive, using their web site. About 6 weeks later, the wrong set of rings arrived and I e-mailed them to return the items. I followed all of their instructions and successfully returned the item, racking up additional shipping charges at my expense.

When I did not receive a credit on my credit card like I was promised by customer service representative Susan Merritt, I began to e-mail her regularly. I was told that the problem would be taken care of but it never was. I tried to call the toll-free number (1-888-715-8690) on many occasions, but all I received was a tape-recorded message that all customer service people were busy.

My many e-mails failed to produce results and Ms. Merritt told me that my refund would be coming shortly. My credit card company confirmed that there was no refund credit on the account. Strange, though, they didn't waste any time charging my credit card when I placed the order! The card was charged that very day!

Now, I am out $85.00 which includes the original shipping charges and an additional $8.00 to return the item certified mail. All that I have asked of them is that they do the right thing and honor the refund promise. I will never do business with them again and am posting this so that others will not get ripped off by this company.
