Mr. Vorberg pretends to be in need of a software developer, promises partnership in a fake business, then disappears with the software developed. I can only assume he is portraying himself as a software or Website developer and stealing the work from actual Web developer and presenting it as his own.

I was contacted by him in regards to a Web application he said he was developing. He said that the front end of that application – graphics and user interface – were done by him and he needed a programmer to create the “back end” of it; the software that makes everything work. In exchange, he promised a 50% stake in the business. Since the development wasn’t complex, I gave it a try. However, when I started uploading my work to the Web server, it became evident that the front end work was not done.

After meeting with him a second time to define what was needed in terms of the front end development –which he was supposed to have done to being with- he became unresponsive at my attempts to contact him to follow up on this project.

When I went to the server to delete the files, my work, that I had uploaded I found he had blocked me out of it. After contacting him several times to have him delete the files from the server he refused to answer my calls, texts, emails, - the true sign of a coward- and then password-protected the web directory so I could not even see how he is using my work.

People, stay away from this scammer, his company outpixel.com, and anything he does. He is a liar, stay away from him!

What a rather childish thing to do.

Reporting an "internet fraud" when there isn't fraud to be reported. Laughable, but I'll give everyone the quick rundown in case you're actually believing this.

I had a side project I wanted to do so I posted an ad on craigslist, Mr. Paredes (The shameless "internet fraud" reporter who reported this) responded very quickly and stated his interest in the project. We talked, signed an agreement and began work on the project. I would be doing the HTML, CSS, Jquery, design, and SEO. Cesar would be doing work on the backend of the application. Cesar Paredes became very impatient as the designs that I created for the side project weren't coming fast enough for him and he wanted out of the project. Easy enough right?

Here's where it gets weird.

He began to keep texting, messaging, and calling me telling me to take down his code because it was on a hosted website. He insulted my character, myself, and my work repeatedly...over how the designs weren't going fast enough for him. Mind you, this was 300 lines of demo code. Literally nothing I could have done with this code, at all. So I didn't understand the sudden urgency to take it down. Then the threats came, started threatening me with a DMCA takedown if I didn't take down his 300 lines of code. Just to put this all into perspective in case you're reading, it would be like a mechanic attempting to sue you because he left a $20 wrench in your car. Frivilous to say the least. Regardless, I finally just deleted everything to be done with this fiasco, but apparentally this isn't over.

He felt the need to take time out of his day JUST to attempt to publicly shame me. Sad. Over a side project that didn't go anywhere. But since I'm here now, lets go through what he said.

"Mr. Vorberg pretends to be in need of a software developer"

Yes, I was looking for a back end developer for the web application. One of the few things that are true about this report.

"Promises Partnership in a fake business, then disappears with the software developed"

He knew that there wasn't a business to begin with but, when we formed a company then yes, he would be a partner. But disappearing with the software developed? Come on. He had literally 2% of the project coded. It was all demo code, meaning, completely unusable for any other purpose than to test a single function of the application.

"I can only assume he is portraying himself as a software or Website developer and stealing the work from actual Web developer and presenting it as his own."

Anyone can assume. You can assume all you want but it doesn't make it true. No work was stolen, nor do I want 300 lines of code that took an hour at most to complete.

"I was contacted by him in regards to a Web application he said he was developing. He said that the front end of that application – graphics and user interface – were done by him and he needed a programmer to create the “back end” of it; the software that makes everything work. In exchange, he promised a 50% stake in the business. Since the development wasn’t complex, I gave it a try. However, when I started uploading my work to the Web server, it became evident that the front end work was not done."

Try again Cesar, he replied to MY ad on Craigslist not the other way around. He also knew that there wasn't any sort of front end work done (designs). Also, he wasn't getting 50% but 60%, which was MORE than a fair deal considering I was doing most of the work.

"After meeting with him a second time to define what was needed in terms of the front end development –which he was supposed to have done to being with- he became unresponsive at my attempts to contact him to follow up on this project."

Once again, another lie, he knew that there was hardly any sort of designs actually done for the project but he still continued with the project. 3 days was all it took for him to be "done" with the project. 3 days with no response from me and he ended it on his own accord, which was fine on my end. All he wanted was for it to be completed as soon as possible, regardless of quality. I don't rush design work, especially on my own projects.

"When I went to the server to delete the files, my work, that I had uploaded I found he had blocked me out of it. After contacting him several times to have him delete the files from the server he refused to answer my calls, texts, emails, - the true sign of a coward- and then password-protected the web directory so I could not even see how he is using my work."

He was never blocked out, his login was still valid but he continued to text, email, and call me for reasons unknown to me. Eventually I had the time and deleted his demo code from the site.

"People, stay away from this scammer, his company outpixel.com, and anything he does. He is a liar, stay away from him!"

This part is very strange. He attempts to call me a scammer, yet I haven't scammed him out of anything. And he ALSO attempts to bring up my company that had absolutely nothing to do with our project at a pitiful attempt to "shame" the company. He wouldn't have even known about my company if I hadn't told him about it. Someone should probably educate him on the definition of "Fraud" and "Scam" because he doesn't seem to fully understand either of those words.

To sum this report up in case you didn't feel like reading most of this. This is a feeble attempt at putting a mark on my reputation over a failed partnership he attempted to lie about how I "stole" his code, when there was no usable code to steal in the first place. If you want to avoid headaches in the future, steer clear of hiring or becoming partners with Cesar Paredes. He WILL lash out at you, threaten you, and attempt to put a mark your reputation.

This will be my last reply, I'm not wasting anymore time on this individual. If you're reading this, don't waste your time with him either.
