AVOID OUTSOURCE DATA RECOVERY THEY ARE A SCAM! They lie and advertise $60 dollar data recovery but when I sent them my hard drive they came back with an outrageous price in the thousands and then held my hard drive hostage. When I finally got my hard drive back and I sent it to a real data recovery company in California they told me that Outsource Data Recovery had ruined any possibility of data recovery. They even found FINGERPRINTS on the platters. Thanks to OUTSOURCE DATA RECOVERY I will never see my children's photos again. I AM SO MAD THAT I AM FREAKING OUT!! AVOID THEM THEY ARE A SCAM! On their website [at the web address you provided] they state, “Our services start at only $60”. That is not a $60 quote to recover data.

Thank yourself for failing to backup your data. Maintaining a backup is a part of basic computer operation. You could have avoided this with a few recordable CDs that cost about ten cents each.
