Let me start by saying I have read a other reports on here and am thankful this is here. I think its a shame that people can be so ignorant these days and get away with it. They hide behind smiles and lights until the job is done and then stand there and make excuses why they can not help repair the wrong they have done. Even if it is as simple as selling a POS Jeep.

I will start by saying that my case does not involve this whole dealer only a branch. My problem is that this branch is part of a dealer owner who refuses to make a wrong situation right. I know that this will get some sort of rebuttal but I will gladly show all documentation and evidence to back this up. Including the length I was willing to go with a lawsuit with chrysler.

My family and I have bought many cars through OUTTEN. Since I was young Im pretty sure every car my parents owned and most of my relatives were purchased through the Chevy side of OUTTEN. We know everyone and they treated us as family with everything we ever needed.

Last winter my fiance and I decided to get rid of her 2012 corolla. She is a nurse and travels a lot and is the typical mom type with our son running everywhere. It took one snow storm at our new house and a 300 yrd walk up a hill to convince her it was time to get a 4 wheel drive.

So she wanted to go to toyota and get one of their new suv. I explained to her how great OUTTEN is and they would treat us amazing. This was true, for the most part. We sat with brian and looked all day for vehicles until he informed us that to get a new jeep we had to go across the street since they are seperate. We felt bad for him doing so much leg work and us not knowing. "sorry brian"

Across the street we go, Walking in we had the normal sales pitchs and we ended up driving in a 2015 Jeep Cherokee. My fiance loved it. We bought all the bells and whistles until the ink dried in the pen.

Now we own this jeep and start our real adventure. A few months into it The alarm would go off and you could not get it to stop. Finally with pressing the serive button on the mirror it stopped. This happened a few times. Then our check engine light came on and we were afraid to drive it so we called outten and told them we are near a garage ELI STUP said to have them read it.and they said it was a false code and it went off.

We called OUTTEN and ELI STUP says if it comes on again bring it down. This was the beginning of our electrical nightmare. We started feeling something in the pedal when pulling out. The jeep would stall out and take seconds to Get out of its own way. We again were told to bring this down.

We took it down and ELI tells us that it is a progressive learning trans and that it learns how you drive. It needed one of the 20 recall updates at the time. " slight exag but you get the point". We leave there get up the road Try to cross the lanes to get on route 78 and it stalls out in the middle of the opposing lane. All of a sudden wammm it takes off.

I call again and explain this problem and was told that it will take some time before this update takes effect. By this time my fiance is scared to drive this car and we relayed that information back. So we drove it and it continued still.

Not long after she is at work with one of her children having an outdoor day. She is in progross leaving park and the jeep will not start. I come to her and the dashboard says please wait engine warming. Im guessing with cold weather package the block warmers were on. This I am ok with but not when it was 85 degrees out. There was no response out of the motor.

We called everyone on this sunday and finally the jeep service button came on and we spoke to someone there. They told us they would help contacted a jeep place ended up in florida and they asked us to bring it down. Would love to but we are in PA.  They hung up on spot. So we contact jeep reps again and they have a tow company come for it. So I take them and we leave the jeep since she is late now and they will be there in 20.

5 hrs later we drive by and there is our jeep yet. The kid at the towing company didnt see it so he left and did not call or tell anyone. Now the owner comes out at 11 at night to get our jeep. This is just explaining how much trouble this jeep has caused.

When it gets to OUTTEN we are informed by ELI that the ignition fused was tripped and that they fixed it and could not duplicate this. So now we have our jeep back.

The next day my fiance leaves the house for an appointment and it will not start again. The fuse blew again. We pulled the hvac fuse and put it there and drove it straight down. They told us again they could not find any issues with this. Few days later we leave with our jeep again. But they feel it is the starter causing it.

I explained that before they just replace the starter and waste time to check for amp over draw. I was informed that they know that its bad. So since they are the experts Have at it. Well new starter later and fuse we get our jeep back and head on our way.

Few days later bam.. happens again no start so I pull the fuse again to get it down there and it popped that one on first try. Now we get towed again. They told my fiance that they found some mouse chewings in the engine bay and droppings. So I asked for them to see. I was told they didnt have them but they did check the wires anyway and all seems fine now. Not the case after back and fourth they tell us that the board might be bad. They are going to replace this. So they do.

By this time you see our frustration. So we have our jeep back with about 11k miles on it now and I tell them that the computer screen keeps shutting off. This is annoying with most car controls being on that screen. I explain that after it sits for a bit it will come back on. And still the trans is not right. So back it goes because they say its recall time again. After the updates and recalls I was told that the trans is fine.

Eli tells me to get in the driver seat and I tell him no please have your tech take us for a ride to see how he drives compared to us that maybe we are bad drivers. Pretty much so Im not getting drivers Ed class all over again. So the tech working on the care takes us for a ride and gives us the usual talk.

He was nice and harmless and very car smart. Gives us our phd on new crappy cars and such. He tries to do things and make it happen but is unable. I explain because he is not driving normal. So we switch and bam there it is. I told him like I told them for months that the trans does not seem to be down shifting and feels like im pulling out in 5th

It does when you stop fully but when you decelerate in anyway and try to give gas you get nothing. When you come off the road to go up a hill like our driveway it slams the car hard. We tested this many times on or drive and he agrees 100 percent. We tested this on highway speeds and it happens still even from 60 to 50 and try to accelerate bam it hits

It does not hit as hard since higher gears are much less torque then lower. Still very much felt. I explained again that this is going to get my fiance our son or others killed one day and is unsafe. So we head back to the shop.

When we arrive the tech tells ELI that there is a problem with this and what can we do. ELI says he feels it is fine and theres nothing we can do. So I got pissed I yelled at him and told him every d**n time I come here to try to tell me this and that about issues this car has. It is a piece of s**t just admit it like your tech is trying to tell you. Finally he says ok and sends another tech out to drive it.

This tech says he feels nothing but will try some electrical grease on connectors that other jeeps have been coming in with same issue. I said to Eli you dont trust the opinion of the tech working on our car when there is an issue but you will trust him when he says there is not an issue.

They tell us to pick our jeep up next day. I told them we are leaving for the beach for the weekend and do not want issues. They told  us it will be fine. Well stop and go traffice was horrible on this car. Yet still this is happening.

It is going back down as we speak to get it looked at again.

I send all this to JAMES OUTTEN. I was told that he is a good man to deal with. I explained that we are not looking to get out of a loan that we just do not want this car anymore. It is going to kill someone.  I told him all of our past history. I did not get a reply back at all. What makes me sick about this is that they would not give me a loaner to drive the first few times we went. It was not until I Flipped out that they started giving us one. Since this has happened My fiance mom bought a brand new car from the chevy side and my brother bought a truck.

When I told them We do not want this jeep anymore that we have had issues from day one. They told us we have to go throught chrysler. I told them If you buy bad milk from walmart and its Swiss or lehigh milk. Who do you take the milk back to. WALMART. They stand by their product and replace it.

I am at my ends with this and now the car has 15k miles on it. God forbid this trans locks up while she is driving and something happens.
