In june of 06, a contract was signed with Roger Ingleby, owner of Ovation Audio Interiors. The purchase was made for home data wire installation, as well as plasma T.V.'s, amplifiers, DVD players, etc.

Roger required all hardware expenses up front. A check was cut, in trust, for the purchase of the equipment (approx $20,000).

The job was supposed to take two weeks from acceptance of the contract. Three weeks after the contract was returned, a small team flew on-site to install a phone system requiring the wire Roger was installing. Roger, during update calls, stated that they were on track and everything was going well.

Once the team arrived on-site, none of the wiring was completed, and Roger claimed that we could split the current lines to complete the job (which is not what we agreed on).

The some of the wiring was put in place, but done so poorly, it had to be taken down and re-wired by another vendor.

Over the next two weeks, Roger also continued to update that the equipment installations were going great, and would be ready for move-in time. Again, when flying down to the site, it was determined that only one T.V. was installed out of the 5 or so purchased, two others were on site and initially defective, and no audio gear was installed. This was after Roger stated that everything was done.

Roger removed the defective peices, said he would return tomorrow to get everything installed, and left.

After not returning the next day, he finally answered his phone in the afternoon claiming that he would no longer work on the site. He refused to provide us with the ~$19,000 worth of equipment which he supposidly purchased for us, and offered a refund the following day.

Over the next couple of months, Roger has not contacted or returned calls, and does not answer his phone. Faxes were sent, as well as letters with no response.

Roger misrepresented the work he performed, and when this was discovered, refused to return money owed or equipment purchased. The total amount Roger owes is $19,274 (not taking into account the additional money spent to recover from his poor work).
