The scam continues. WE recently paid $60 for a magazine subsciption. We recived a receipt that got us nowhere when we tried to contact the company. We cancelled the check (cost $20 to our bank).

Money Tree Check Cashing just notified us that we owe THEM the $60 that was cashed to this upstanding individual within hours of our writing the check. And they also are requiring we pay $25 in processing fees for cancelling the check in the first place. They advised us that it is our responsibility to contact the person they gave the money to to recover my funds. Hm, I wouldn't have cancelled the check if I could have done that.

Nothing like coming home from an honest days work at a hospital just to find out I have to pay my hard-earned money to these two rip-off entities.

To all those vitimized, or think they were ripped off by Overachievers
door- to- door magazine sales, this might help. For questions, comments, or problems, disregard the toll free number on your receipt. No one will answer. Instead, call (310) 926-2124. I did, and the gentleman was very helpful. He acknowledged past problems, and solved my issues. Good luck.
