Overstock.com Major Fraud on a purchased item Salt Lake City Internet
I purchased a DVD recorder. It didn't do what it was supposed to do (Record DVD's). When I went to email them, the serial number that I was going to give them in the email had been scratched off the unit. I didn't know that when I first purchased it. I never received an answer, so I called them. They gave me a phone number to call. They said it was the Phillips Company. It was a private residence who stated that they had received phone calls in the past about people of Overstock.com. I re-emailed my email 5 more times and was told to quit sending it and never received an answer. I still have this hunk of crap that doesn't work as discribed. I took them off my emailing list and wrote them off as a major fraudulent company and will never ever deal with these crooks again.
