We placed an order for a Sony PSP and two PSP games to Overstock.com and then changed our mind on the game titles, only 30 minutes later. We wanted to substitute 2-3 different game titles. We called Customer Support (which is clearly misnamed) and they fed us a canned line about "not being able to contact the warehouse" and "email to the warehouse takes 3-4 days". We spoke with both an agent and a supervisor.

Now, I've used Overstock a couple of times in the past, and I can tell you, promptness is not one of their virtues. There is no way that the phoneless warehouse had our order boxed and ready to go in 30 minutes. All of my past orders took the maximum amount of time promised to arrive if not longer.

But why would this be? A quick look at their return policy clears it up: all items in a returned order (not cancelled) are charged at $4.95. Well, Overstock, you can have my $4.95, but never my business again. I jump at every opportunity to bad mouth your sham of a company and can't wait until you go bankrupt. I understand the tiny margin that Overstock is dealing with, but this kind of customer service is disgusting. Overstock.com sucks and they RIP YOU OFF at every opportunity.
