I ordered (order #) merchandise from the company on 8/2/06. Less than 24 hrs later I went online to cancel the order with a representative, Jessy. I looked up the order at this time and there was no fed-ex transaction number. While i was online with the rep canceling the order, the transaction was processed and I was lied to. This is while I was online with the representative for over 20 minutes. I made a phone call to Overstock to complain and cancel the newly entered order that had not left the warehouse, but to no avail. I will not pay for something in which someone tries to process an order while I'm cancelling it. The online conversation with Jessy follows:
