I am in Mortgage Business. I recently signed up with yahoo Overture for 5 dollars per day/ 50 Dollars a month
budget. My Account went online on 12/28/2005 and today on 12/29/2005, they charged me more than 600 dollars for the clicks I didn't receive. DO NOT USE OVERTURE! IT IS A BIG RIPOFF ! H**L WITH YAHOO!
I tried yahoo Overture and it is a Big RIPOFF !I had a budget of 5.00 dollars a day and I didn't select any bids. I have the same service with Google Adwards and MSN and I have the same daily budget of 5.00 dollars with them and if my budget is reached for that day, my account goes offline irrespective of my bids and I am totally fine with that. What's the point in having a monthly budget ? Hoping that their advertising budget for a month is fixed. I dont want to get million clicks. My Business is small and I wouldn't be able to handle more than few customers at any time. That's why I had selected a 50 dollar per month budget. Now I am charged 600 dollars in 24 hours for clicks that I didn't wanted in first place. This is totally ridiculous the way Overture is ripping off people's money.DO NOT USE OVERTURE! IT IS A BIG RIPOFF ! H**L WITH YAHOO!
This is totally wrong business model, and it is cheating. I didn't even know that I have exceeded my total budget for a day. I would like this problem taken care off if you want me to still use Yahoo for my business advertising.DO NOT USE OVERTURE! IT IS A BIG RIPOFF ! H**L WITH YAHOO!
I am totally dissatisfied and disgusted with Yahoo Overture customer service, the supervisor has no idea at all. She is not willing to listen at all. I don't want to be charged more than 5 dollars per day.
Yahoo once was a Trusted name and it is becoming like a shadow company ripping off people. I have been doing online advertising for quite some time and I wanted to try Overture. So many people have very bad experience with Overture!

I would have appreciated if I had got the same response first time when I called them. I am going to give Yahoo Overture one more try!

After sending few mails to Yahoo Corporate and Overture customer service, I got good response. They have agreed to refund me that excess charges and they are willing to work with me in modifying my AD.
I had bad experience with one of the Overture Supervisors, but the other Guy was able to help me out. I am not that mad any more. I would have appreciated if I had got the same response first time when I called them. I am going to give Yahoo Overture one more try!
