Complaint Review: Oxebridge Quality Resources

Story 1 "Can't Access Oxebridge's Free ISO Template Kits? Blame X" (LinkedIn, 24/05/17). "My house was vandalized four times, and my children harassed online. …In the mean time, you can help. Consider a donation to the ISO Standards Users Legal Defense Fund, which is used to not only help push for reform in the ISO standards scheme, but also to defend against these horrific attacks by morally bankrupt monsters" and Oxebridge Report #40 (12/05/17) "It's gotten so bad, my house has been vandalized and I'm receiving threatening phone calls…I've fired up the ISO Standards Users Legal Defense Fund again, and am asking you to consider donating."

Story 2 "A Personal Message About Doxxing, Bankruptcy and the Fight to Improve ISO 9001" (Oxebridge website 21/01/17): "I filed bankruptcy [April 2016] to remove the house’s debt, and then filed for a deed-in-lieu of foreclosure, to effectively give the keys to the bank and walk away. At this time I had already established a new property in South America and simply didn’t need the house anymore." This Ripoff Report already says his local police have no vandal records either.

At least one story is a lie. Think about this next time this individual says bad things about another person, company, or organization.

 Chris Paris recently published a reference to Jeff Rense on his own website, which prompts our opinion of the material he publishes online: "Chris Paris, the Jeff Rense of quality management. Oxebridge Quality Resources International LLC: the Weekly World News of quality management." However, we don't think Jeff Rense and Weekly World News (http://weeklyworldnews.com/about/) really intend to be taken seriously.

Jeff Rense disclaims (http://www.rense.com/announce.htm), "Neither Jeff Rense nor Rense.com necessarily adhere to, or endorse, any or all of the links, stories, articles, editorials or products offered by the sponsors that are on this site, or transmit on the Jeff Rense radio show." On the other hand, Oxebridge Quality Resources International LLC intends clearly readers to believe its equally credible accusations versus dozens of people, businesses, and organizations. By the way, we do not challenge Mr. Paris's technical competence, we have not seen any reason to doubt he can implement ISO in 40 days. Our problem is only with his malicious and dishonest online publications about us and others.

If you want to know how we know that Chris Paris did not report vandalism, telephone threats or cyberbulling from his address, the reports of crimes are public records. The Terms of Service of the Ripoff Report prevent us from publishing his address here, but it is a public record in his 2016 bankruptcy filing (also White Pages phone book) if you wish to search for it yourself. You can then ask his local police department what complaints he made for that address until 31/05/17. None involved vandalism, telephone threats, or cyberbulling even though he accused named people of being involved in these things.

Also of concern is "Oxebridge Securing Whistleblower Protections Under US Federal Law" which says,

"Oxebridge has begun the process to secure protection under US Federal Whistleblower Protection laws, and more specifically those administered by the US. Dept of Defense (DoD) under the Defense Intelligence Community Whistleblower Protection (DICWP). Oxebridge is under increased harassment, retaliation, defamation and threats by various subjects of Oxebridge’s reporting on waste, fraud and abuse in the ISO certification scheme."

What Oxebridge calls "reporting" consists of abusive and possibly defamatory public statements about what Chris Paris calls "subjects of Oxebridge reporting." "Subjects of Oxebridge reporting" include numerous people whose images Oxebridge uses without permission, and sometimes in very pejorative contexts, including childish and derogatory comments on their personal appearance along with adding a raised middle finger to a named woman's image, and people and organizations Chris Paris accuses of crimes, fraud, unprofessional conduct and other forms of evil. "Subjects of Oxebridge reporting" are simply victims of Oxebridge's online abuse, of which we are one/some of dozens.

"The Whistleblower Protection Act (WPA) provides statutory protections for federal employees who engage in “whistleblowing,” that is, making a disclosure evidencing illegal or improper government activities."

"The protections of the WPA apply to most federal executive branch employees and become applicable when a “personnel action” is taken “because of” a “protected disclosure” made by a “covered employee.”"

1. Chris Paris is not a Federal executive branch employee.
2. The people and organizations he has threatened with DICWP remedies are not Federal agencies.
3. We do not believe that the "protected whistleblowing" includes unfounded public accusations of crimes, fraud and incompetence. However, there is a confidential hotline through which Chris Paris can present his "concerns" anonymously instead of posting them on his company's website and on social networks.

We can't advise you of legalities, but if Chris Paris has threatened you with DICWP sanctions, you can ask your lawyer if you should take his threat seriously.

Christopher Mark Paris and Oxebridge Quality Resources International LLC (OQR) have started fights with literally dozens of people and organizations. We reviewed the material they wrote under their own name or anonymously, but we did not use anything in this report that we could not see for ourselves. Most of the material is actually from the Oxebridge website and LinkedIn posts. We have received the information in this report from many Internet sources, but we have not used anything that we can not confirm by ourselves.

Overview

 First, let's look at the Oxebridge ISO Standards Users Legal Defense Fund itself. It said as of 15/02/18,

 "Multiple sites have opened up defaming Oxebridge and supporters of its industry-wide reform efforts. They accuse innocent people of crimes…"

 A Google search on site:oxebridge.com and keywords like "jail," "fraud," "felony," "criminal," and "crime" shows that Oxebridge itself is the one that makes wild accusations of this nature.

 This Ripoff report already mentions https://www.plainsite.org/dockets/download.html?id=167580833&z=9ca38f27 and starts at point 31. Point 53 says "All the libel and inference has caused Plaintiffs' many program presenters to refuse to present in fear of harassment from Paris," Paris bragged about getting one speaker to drop out of the conference: "Obama Risk Advisor Dropped from G31000 Speaker Lineup by Christopher Paris | Jul 2, 2014 | News |"

 He also went to one of the organizer's employers to try to get him fired - a pattern of behavior he has repeatedly repeated. As an example, he is in an online fight with a man, and published the image of a man's wife and name of her employer, and made it clear that he would try to get her fired. We do not want to give the link because Oxebridge site names the woman and her employer. If you are a regular visitor to Oxebridge ("O-Fan"), you have already seen it.

 Was Chris Paris' House Vandalized?

 Oxebridge Report #40 asked for donations to the Oxebridge ISO Standards Users Legal Defense Fund while claiming, "It's gotten so bad, my house has been vandalized and I'm receiving threatening phone calls…" and insinuating that four of his self-made enemies were somehow involved in this.  "[X] Hack of Oxebridge Isn't Their First Run-In with the Law" published on 31/05/17 at Oxebridge said, "My house was vandalized four times, and my children harassed online."  Mr. Paris did not report to his local police any vandalism, phone threats, or cyberbulling at his address through 31/05/17.

 Was the Oxebridge Web site hacked?

 "Can't Access Oxebridge's Free ISO Template Kits? Blame [X]" LinkedIn, Published on 24/05/17 says,

 "If you notice that last website link doesn't have a squiggly underline or is particularly clickable, that's intentional. You see, you can't actually access those kits because the entire Oxebridge website is down, the victim of a nefarious attack apparently launched by a tiny handful of known "bad actors" who really, really don't want anyone to know that Oxebridge might be doing something to help people. Who?"

 Chris Paris then accused four people and / or entities that he considers responsible, without credible evidence, for involvement in hacking his company's website.

 There is ample evidence, although it is not absolute proof, that there was no hacking. People were able to access the website when its home page said it was being attacked. Why would the hacker spare the home page? Other site pages could be viewed too. He then continues to accuse X of "literally helping kill cops" because of X's unproven connection to an old anti-police website, osteinfo.com. Paris openly admits that osteinfo.com was closed or abandoned by the anti-cop group, and that it was later acquired by someone who wanted to complain about Oxebridge, but anyway makes the false accusation that X is helping to kill the cops. He concludes with the following request based on these outrageous statements:

I have a lot of problems with Chris Paris and Oxebridge Quality Resources International LLC, but I would not have brought his associate or his clients into this. First, RABQSA does not hand out the Certified QMS Lead Auditor credential like a prize in a Cracker Jack box; it has to be earned. Second, Mr. Paris' clients are innocent neutral third parties that have earned ISO 9001 registration from impartial certification bodies. This may be because of Mr. Paris' work or in spite of it, but the bottom line is that they met the requirements. Third, I have seen no evidence that Christopher Paris himself lacks technical qualifications to implement ISO 9001, and he probably did a good job for both these clients. I was, on the contrary, favorably impressed by the technical material I saw on the Oxebridge site. I would normally be inclined to write Chris Paris a good recommendation based solely on what I have seen of his technical competence, but his ethics make that impossible.

(On a side note, the industrial exemption in many states allows an employer to call anybody an engineer so, as long as Mr. Paris was working as an employee, he is allowed to say that this was his job title. This assumes that the employer is a manufacturer and not an engineering consulting firm--in the latter case, "engineers" must be licensed professional engineers in most or all states. Does not constitute legal advice, I am not a lawyer.)

The issue therefore has nothing to do with Christopher Paris' competence and everything to do with his character. The Oxebridge site serves as a fake news platform from which he attacks the reputations of other people and other organizations. He has published false and reckless accusations of unprofessional conduct and even crimes against literally dozens of people and organizations. He has published numerous willful falsehoods about me and about many people I know. He has even disparaged his own clients' ISO 9001 and AS9100 certification bodies along with the very standards he helps his clients implement.

Nor has Christopher Paris limited this conduct to his Oxebridge site. He has published similar fake news on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter with reckless indifference as to what might happen to the careers of others who believe and act on his fake news. As an example, somebody could get into very serious trouble with his or her employer for propagating Chris Paris' falsehoods with the employer's name on it, but Mr. Paris nonetheless circulated his misinformation to LinkedIn's very large ISO 9001 group (of which he is the moderator, which means there is nobody to whom to complain).

This complaint is consistent with what I have seen of his conduct toward me and toward others.  I also caught him badmouthing me to two other people whom he was badmouthing behind their backs on his Web site. This stopped as soon as I told them what he was saying about them. The bottom line is that somebody, regardless of his technical qualifications, is ethically capable of lying about me or somebody else to you as Christopher Paris has done, is ethically capable of lying to and/or about you.
