Oxford Dental Care Ripoff Gave telephone quotes for procedures which were low-ball Quoted $125 for a procedure that ultimately cost $250! Oxford Florida
I was in need of having a broken tooth surgeriically removed, so I called Oxford Dental Care which is near The Villages ibn central Florida. I was quoted $125 by Jean and I set an appointment.
When I got to my appointment I waited 45 minutes to be seen and another 45 in an office They then took whole mouth exrays and consulted with me -- none of these services were requested.
The office is set up like cattle stalls with one dental chari after another and the whole experience for me spelled "seedy establishment."
The procedure went without problems, but when I wne to pay the bill the price was $250! I paid them $150 and wrote a check post dated for two days away when my Social Security comes in. They promised to hold it -- without fail.
They did not. As a result I not only paid more than I was quoted I had to endure bank bounced check fees. I paid more for less.
In my opinion, I'd seek dental care elsewhere!
