Oxford Marketing Solutions, Matt Hughes, Liz, Ryan horrible employer, lies, terrible hours, all commission, pyramid scheme Narberth Pennsylvania
To Jeff, Brian, and anyone else who has been manipultaed by these companies, I feel your pain. Fresh out of college, I was hired on to a "Management Training Team" and promised to earn about $50,000 in the first year. There would be mentors and training seminars, and leaders who have come before me; there'd be business trips, and company parties, and plenty of money. None of that came true.
I stayed for 4 months, 3.5 of which I cried my way to and from work (at 5:30 am and 9:30pm most days). I saw one person be promoted to Manager(which means they have their own crew and start trying to reach a goal that qualifies them to open their own business). I saw so many people come and go it was unbelievable.
We sold AT&T, Verizon (yes, competitors), Pizza Hut, and so many others. I can't say enough bad things about this company. There were favorites, and they, and only they, got "promoted" (translation: hang around the office jerking around all day then going to drink and have inner-office relationships). During that time, fall of '01, Matt hughes was the owner and his cronies were Ryan and Liz.
Please, please, please learn from my mistake and don't fall for this. My days were spent driving long distances, buying potential new employees lunch, and walking from house to house or business to business (depending on the campaign)...all on my own dime. If I could make this report the header of Monster.com i certainly would!
