Complaint Review: Oxford Property Management

This leasing office and property manager have decided to change their name likely in order to avoid such bad reviews for their units.  They are formerly known as TLEC Services and I rented a unit from them in Gallatin TN at Rose Cottage Villas while they were under this name and they have yet to refund my deposit on a unit I was forced to leave being a victim of a crime.  For some reason they feel they can break the law and then hide behind it.

Despite all of that the units also have serious habitability concerns and my duplex was poorly built as are all the rest I am sure since they are made by the same company.  Mine had defective heating and cooling with the furnace and the AC placed in the attic exposed to outside air. The attics in these places are not sealed and you can see light via the holes left in the eaves where the roof meets the walls.

Blown in insulation is taken up by the furnace and sprayed into the home, duct work from above flows ice cold air in the winter time from the unit exposed to outside air.

Worms and earwigs come up through the floors all the time.

All in all I would avoid these places.

Management is dishonest and won't repair anything.
