Oxmoor House aka North Shore Agency ripoff fraud Westbury New York
I have had it. Three years ago I was contacted by the folks at Cooking Light who were trying to sell me a copy of their annual recipes. I was a fan of Cooking Light and agreed. Since then I have received two books from Oxmoor House that I didn't ask for. After the third book, I had enough.
I mailed it back (at my own expense!) but have since been contacted by Oxmoor House monthly inquiring about paying my $38 bill! I have ignored all of their requests and have now been transferred to a collection agency. I believe this agency to be phony because their correspondence format is identical to that of Oxmoor House with similar verbage.
Today I wrote them a threating letter telling them I was planning to take action if they contacted me again! Also, I surfed the web looking for this "agency" and have turned up nothing. BEWARE!!

About a year ago I recieved this book didn't like it so I returned it at my own expense. Today I'm still getting notices from a collection agency asking for payment for something I sent back after 2 weeks I recieved it. I don't understsnd what happened to the book I returned to them.I also called after the first notice nothing happened only more bill from North Shore Agency. Why should I have to pay for something I don't have.I would like to hear from someone about this matter as it has been too long. Thank you
