Complaint Review: P.A.A. Inc.

A very nice, clean-cut young man appeared at our door and told us that he was working towards a trip while making his way through college. He was quite a talker and very funny. He flipped through several other magazine orders that he had in his hand mentioning that our neighbors gave him great reviews in the comment section of their order form. I wanted to do my part in helping him out.

My husband and I had wanted to order TV Guide for the year so I thought this would be a good opportunity to order a yearly subscription. When we did not receive the TV Guide magazine after 2 months, I called the telephone # on the order form (903-429-3300). It rang directly to a Macy's human resource department. That's when I realized that we would never be getting the subscription. We're out $70.

I trusted this young man (signed his form Luke Jones)! What a sucker I was. I should have realized that this was a bogus name. It's such a shame that these kids are out scamming the public instead of putting their talents to good use.

I will never do this again and have warned my neighbors about this as well.
